On Septemeber 11th Ryan turned three. We did a cars theme. Here are some highlights of his day:
He invited a friend over and they of course played cars and trains. For lunch they had car shaped grilled cheese, Cars Spaghettios, and "organic fuel" (AKA juice). Then they decorated car shaped cookies and ate Cars fruit snacks.
We had hot dogs, chips, applesauce, and chocolate milk for dinner. Ryan's choice. And I made him a Lightening McQueen cake. It was a lot of work, but he loved it. He got some new Thomas stuff. He was very happy and told my grandma on the phone that night " I had a very good, long day."
Ryan is Three!!

Cute! Don't you love the new version of Picasa (Picasa 3)! It makes blogging pictures so easy.
Happy Birthday to Ryan! What a fun little party. I've been thinking about doing a joint cars birthday for the boys unless we decide to do away with birthday parties and Christmas gifts and go to Disneyland instead!
Where does the time go? Seriously 3?! What a cute little guy!!
Sounds like a fun birthday! I made that same cake for Carter when he turned 3. The cakes are very time consuming but it's worth it when they love it!
What a cute birthday cake! I am sure he loved it. Where did you learn how to make it? It's very cool.
so cute, the cake looks great!
how fun, and he's so big now!! I'm glad he had a good day. (great cake, BTW!)
Three already? I can't believe it! Looks like a fun party and a darling cake! I think that is the theme I want to do for Trevor's 3rd birthday too.
That is so cute! I bet he just loved it!

Looks like he had a great birthday. Nice job on the cake. How come it was hard to make? The icing?
