Expo update!
It went really well. We weren't really sure what to expect. We took our stuff so we could print, and wondered if we'd come home completely overwhelmed with orders. Turned out we only did 7 prints TOTAL over both days. Not great. BUT we passed out thousands of cards (see above image) and had a great response from people. Both days we had a fairly steady line of people at our booth checking out the albums. It was very exciting and exhausting. We also had a drawing. On the drawing slips we asked if people were interested in hosting an in-home gallery or having a private printing. At the end of the expo we split the forms up according to area and I have 17 people in my area that are interested in hosting or having a private printing. SO, if they all follow through, I could potentially be very busy.
We had two other great leads that came from this expo. I talked to the events coordinator at the Babies R Us in Odgen (about 45 minutes away) and she totally loved our stuff and invited me to come to their store in May to advertise at an event they are hosting. For free! They also have monthly fairs and she indicated I would be invited to be involved in those as well. So that's pretty big!
The other thing which we are really excited about (and I hope it's not too soon to share this) is that we may be featured on Good Things Utah, which is a local morning show (kind of like The View). There's no guarantee yet, but Cheryl (one of the other artists) and I met with the BOSS of the TV show, showed him our work, gave him a card and chatted with him about our product. He totally loved and said it looked like the type of thing they feature on their show. He also said he gets about 50 requests a DAY from people who want to be featured on the show. But the great thing is that our product is completely unique and copyrighted, so there is nothing like it out there that's competing with us. So we'll see. We're going to keep dropping him e-mails and see what happens. But at least we made the connection!

Congratulations on the Expo fair- it sounds like it was very successful! I am sure you've got to be pretty excited. Keep me updated on what happens with everything and good luck!
Sounds like it went really well overall! Good luck with all the potential opportunities! I can't wait to hear how it all works out.
Sounds like it went great then! I know I LOVE my prints!! I may have to make a drive down to UT to have you do Braxton's now! lol. :)
I am SO glad that it went well! I am super excited to see if the Good Things Utah thing works out! I will be watching! :)
I just found the Piggies and Paws website and I'm blown away with it's cuteness. My husband is in the military and we are due to move this fall and I'm really hoping we get Utah so I can have my kids' prints done. I had an ornament made with my son's print but it only gets to come out at Christmas. I like the idea of a framed print to display all year long. If we move out there I will certainly be looking you up.
